Review: Joah Beauty VoxBox

A few weeks ago I received a VoxBox in the mail from Influenster in collaboration with Joah Beauty! This is a new drugstore beauty brand that can be found at CVS Pharmacy at affordable prices. Inside the box was the Birthday Suit eyeshadow palette in "Unveiled", Jelly Bae matte lipstick, Brow Down to Me brow pencil, and the I'm So Flyliner liquid eyeliner. This box came the day before my birthday which was the cutest surprise being that the eyeshadow palette is called "Birthday Suit"!

First off I tested the Jelly Bae matte lipstick in the shade "Sweet Cheeks", this is the perfect shade for Fall/Winter seasons. The lipstick does have a slight scent to it which bugged me at first, but as I wore it I didn't notice it as much. It goes on smoothly and the nice thing is it does not rub off if you touch it after applying. I'm not the biggest fans of matte lipsticks but this one worked fairly well in my opinion. This product retails for $5.99 and is available in ten different shades.

My favorite product in this collection is the Birthday Suit eyeshadow palette in "Unveiled". This consisted of six nude colors, most have a glitter in them which I was worried would not work well, but to my surprise it stayed in place all day and creates a beautiful natural eye! I've used this palette everyday for the past three days, I enjoy using the shades Good Vibes, Whip Cream, & Cappuccino. The packaging is really cute as well. This palette sells for $9.99 at CVS.

I also got to try the "Brow Down to Me" precision brow pencil in "Brunette". This one had really pretty packaging & was easy to apply and keep control over. It is double ended, one end has the pencil & the other has

a spoolie.This one goes for $8.99 at CVS.

Lastly, I tested the Joah Beauty "I'm So Fly-liner" felt tip liquid eyeliner in black. This one has a nice small tip, but I had a hard time applying it without it looking to messy. The one good thing is that it comes off easily with a makeup wipe. I'll probably try this out again and practice using it, but as of right now this one has a thumbs down from me. Overall, I am loving the Joah Beauty line inspired by K Beauty! I am always looking for quality makeup that is also affordable and this line fits just that description. Joah's name is also Korean for "I like it" which I think is pretty neat. Thank you to Joah Beauty & Influenster for allowing me to try these products!
