Hi, I'm Megan, welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to finally have a space where I can share a bit more with you on the things I'm loving! I started out on instagram about 3 years ago as a Fashion & Lifestyle blogger, @megansdesignedlife and ever since I have been awaiting the perfect moment to create an actual blog website.

It's taken some time to come up with how I want it to look and a name that I love and that time is finally here! I thought of the name "Beauty in the Oaks" while I was on a trip to the mountains in Asheville, NC. It seemed quite fitting since I was born and raised in what is called the City of Oaks, Raleigh, North Carolina and since I love fashion, beauty seemed to be the right choice.

So let's jump right in and explore everything that is Beauty in the Oaks!
